When you can place orders, and what happens when markets close.
Most Predict event contracts trade 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. There are no exchange-wide closes.
Each event contract has its own close time, listed on the market detail page as Close at. Once a market closes, no new orders are accepted. Open positions are held until resolution.
Settlement happens immediately upon resolution. Winning shares are credited to your cash balance; losing shares are removed. P&L is recorded on your Activity page.
Planned maintenance windows are announced 48 hours in advance via banner and email. We aim to schedule maintenance during low-activity hours (typically 04:00–05:00 ET on weekends).
